Victron Energy MultiPlus 48V 3000VA Inverter with 35A Battery Charger and 16A Transfer Switch

The Multiplus is a powerful true sine wave inverter that includes a sophisticated battery charger with adaptive charge technology and a high-speed AC transfer switch, all housed in a single compact enclosure. It can be configured using DIP switches or a PC (via an optional cable) and connects to various Victron remotes, such as the Blue Power Panel and Color Control GX.

The Multiplus's dual leg charger keeps the start battery charged separately from the house bank without the need for relays or splitters. Its Power Assist feature, sometimes called hybrid technology, allows the inverter to supplement shore power or a generator when loads exceed a set amount. The charger output can also be moderated when incoming AC is limited.

The Multiplus is stackable for increased output, or it can be used to create a split or 3-phase system. It has a very low power consumption, just 15W in normal mode and 4W in search mode. The built-in transfer switch has a response time of less than 20 milliseconds.
